Question: Hi There
I was wondering if tamoxifen can interfere with off the counter pregnancy test and provide a false negative?
I have had my periods regularly and last month it stopped, according to my period tracker im late 18 days now. Have been taking tamoxifen for nearly 2 years.

Brief Answer:
Delay periods can be due to other reasons

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Tamoxifen doesn't interfere with the results of a pregnancy test.

If you have a negative pregnancy test and you have delay periods, there are other many reasons that can cause delay to missed periods.

Hence to determine the reason of delay periods you should talk with your gynecologist.

Hope I have answered your query.
