Does Soliten Cause Dryness In Mouth?

Question: With soliten I have a lot of dryness in the mouth.How do I overcome this.How long on a continuos basis can I take Soliten.

Soliten is given as a symptomatic treatment for Overactive Bladder. It gives a symptomatic relief from excess sensation to pass urine but it doesn't treat the cause of Overactive Bladder.

Unless the cause has been identified and treated you need to take Soliten for symptom relief. Though there are no major side effects of Soliten ( unless you have Heart problem , prostate problem or liver problem ) Dryness of mouth is a common side effect .

Drinking water frequently is a remedy but that may aggravate your Urinary problem. So I advise you to suck a slice of lemon whenever you feel dryness.

For the evaluation of the cause of your overactive bladder you better consult a Neurologist .
