Does Petogen Cause Weight Gain?

default
Posted on Mon, 1 Aug 2016
Question: My weight has ballooned since I started taking petogen a year ago despite exercising and going on a low carb to no carb diet? How do I mitigate the weight gain? I have another 6 weeks to go till the current injection runs out and will not be continuing with this hormone therapy. How long thereafter will it take for the hormone to clean out of my system so my body can start losing weight?

Brief Answer:
Welcome to HCM. I have reviewed your question

Detailed Answer:
Petogen causes weight gain in about 80% of individuals and weight loss in 20% of individuals. It causes appetite increase, sodium retention, bloating and water retention. It will take about 50 days to clear from your system on an average.

You can start losing weight now on the right diet:
1. Eat a low carbohydrate diet with an emphasis on low glycemic index foods, list may be obtained from a search on the computer;
2. Begin and stick to a rigorous cardio and strength training routine to increase metabolic rate, build muscle, burn calories and increase metabolic rate.
3. If no kidney stone in family, drink clear green tea up to 5x per day to increase metabolic rate. No milk, must be clear;
4. Eliminate all added sugars; may use sugar substitute such as stevia
5. Gradually increase fiber to control appetite. Take psyllium in am. Eat only fresh fruit, no juice. Eat fresh vegies and lay low calorie snacks around the house.
6. No fried foods. Switch to healthy oils, extra virgin olive oil.
7. Fast one day per week if healthy and able.
8. You most probably have some insulin dysregulation. Watching food commercials, thinking about food can all sabotage weight loss efforts as insulin will increase just by desiring food. You don't want to encourage your insulin to increase unless you are actually sitting down to eat.
9. Eat slowly and decrease your typical portion size.
