Brief Answer:
Consultation

Detailed Answer:
Hello, and thanks for your question.

Parkinson's disease often has cognitive effects. It sometimes progresses to full dementia, but even short of that, many people experience cognitive slowing, memory problems, forgetfulness, mood changes, and depression. You will need regular consultation with a doctor to keep a close eye on these symptoms and treat them if and when they develop. Antidepressants can be of some benefit, in addition to standard Parkinson's meds (L-dopa).
