Brief Answer:
Signals PCOS

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I checked the reports and query.

I am afraid the current doctor is treating you for PCOS. The LH and FSH levels are reversed and high. So this thereotically indicates PCOS. You just need a confirmation from ULtrasound scan of the abdomen. SO you have hormonal imbalance here.

PCOS is both hormonal and metabolic in nature. Hence the doctor gave you metformin 500mg which can help to regulate sugar levels and thus hormones. You should ideally take Oral contraceptives for regular periods if the OBIMET does not work in 3 to 6 months time.

You should concentrate on lifestyle modifications as the doctor said. Low carb diet, Regular exercise should form a part of your daily routine.

Hope this is clear.

Brief Answer:
Confirms polycystic ovaries

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Checked the Ultrasound report. It confirm cystic ovaries.

What you said above sounds good for me. Brown rice is a perfect alternative to white rice. I think you understood it right by means of low carbohydrate.

We are not experts in Nutrition so for better details in the amount of carb, protein and sat fats it is better to consult a Dietitian professional. However cut down processed stuff, All whites (potato, white rice, white bread, white maida, sugar), add whole grains and proteins to your diet.

All the best and if you do not have further queries please close our discussion.
