Does Nebivolol Interact With Sildenafil?
Question: I would like to thank Dr. Ilir Sharka for the advice and the follow up email messages.
I switched to Nebivolol 2.5 mg per day, and I reduced the dose to 1.25 mg per day because I had some side effects. I do not know if this dose is in the therapeutic window or not?. My BP is now142/88 and HR is around 80. I did not try any ED drugs yet. Is it ok to take 50 mg Sildenafil along with Nebivolol 1.25 mg (or even 2.5 mg)?

Hello!
Welcome back again on HCM!
I am glad that my advice has been helpful to you!
You should know that nebivolol can increase the levels of sildenafil by pharmacological interaction.
So I would recommend taking the lowest dose possible of sildenafil, which is 25 mg.
The dose of nebivolol that you are taking is the lowest therapeutic dose (effective), so you can not reduce it further.
But you can take nebivolol separately ( in different times during the day) from sildenafil in order to avoid interactions as much as possible.
Hope to have been helpful!
I remains at your disposal for any other questions whenever you need!
