Does Lycopene Interact With Mirabegron?
Question: Can i take a lycopene supplement with my prostate medication betmiga (Mirabegron)? I heart is a good supplement to prevent prostate cancer. Is it safe to take them together? I am also taking priacin and aspirin.

As an Urologist, i can fully understand and share your concern.
You should understand that, Mirabegron is used to prevent rapid spread of prostate cancer, not a curative treatment.
It does have side-effects on the cardiac system, which you've to be careful,as you're taking medication for blood pressure and high cholesterol levels.
Take it only after consulting a cardiologist.
Similarly, Lycopene doesn't have curative effect in prostate cancer.
It's given as an adjuvant treatment only.
So,take the medicines, only after clearing these doubts, with your oncologist and Urologist.
