With these unregulated supplements you are basically taking them at your own risk. But, let me warn you about some of the history behind this supplement. A guy named Dr. Oz promoted it awhile back and it got to be a bit of a craze. But the thing is... every study that has ever been done on it has shown that the overall weight-loss is less than 2 pounds and in 2009 one formulation of Garcinia was taken off the market because it caused Liver damage. So Garcinia is iffy. Lots of people take the supplement with no problems, but all the possible cross reactions have not been Identified or even studied.
