Posted on Mon, 21 Dec 2015
Question: I take cymbalta 120 mg/ day for PTSD and I have major sexual difficulties since I started, erectile dysfunction, no orgasm or feeling of sensation and pain coming from post rate area via rectrum when I have orgasmed by mastrubation only. Now have osteomyelitis and taking Ciproxin 500mg and Cleocin 150mg three/ three times a day. I'm looking and concerned with drug interaction and long term side effects and alternatives. the osteomyelitis wound is at the elbow and is leaking blood plus other fluid again after 4 weeks from clean out.

Brief Answer:
Drug interactions present with Ciprocin

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

Please note that Ciproxin (ciprofloxacin) can significantly increase the blood levels of Cymbalta (duloxetine) and increase the risk of serious side effects, especially a condition called serotonin syndrome. Hence simultaneous use of these medicines is not recommended.

There were no interactions between Cymbalta (duloxetine) and Cleocin (Clindamycin).

Please talk to your doctor about the possible interactions before taking the medicines.

I have seen the attached image. It is hard to comment without a proper examination and hence seeing your doctor should be a better idea.
