Does Clindamycin Interact With Any Other Drug?

Question: I have . aN INFECTION ON MY MIDDDLE FINGER IT IS GOING AWAY but my other doctor prescribed for me clindamycin hcl 300mg one every 6 hours. I forgot to tell her that I have LBS should I continue take this medicine.

You are reporting to have been diagnosed with LBS.
There ia no known interactions between LBS disease and clindamicine use.
It is nor harmful in cases like you.
So you can use it.
The side effects of clindamicine are mostly related with C.Difficile infection and diarrhea.

Thank you for clarifying the disease.

With regards to IBS clindamicine use is not directly related with agravation of IBS .
On the other hand misbalance of bacterial gut due to clindamicine can agravate the symptoms of IBS
This is why I suggest to use probiotics during antibiotic treatment and a couple of days after.
