Does Ciprofloxacin Interact With Flexeril?

Question: I IS THE DRUG I AM PRESCRIBED HAD SOME BIOPSYS DONE ON MY LEGS WHERE SOME ANTS BIT ME LAST AUGUST.. AND THEY ARE RED AND SHOWING SIGNS OF INFECTION AND MY DR. THAT DID THIS DID NOT WRITE ME RX FOR ABT. I GOT MY PRIMARY DR. TO WRITE ME RX FOR CIPRO BUT THE PHARMACY TOLD ME THIS WOULD REACCT WITH TRIZANADINE. THIS IS THE ABT THAT I AM GIVEN ALOT D/T MY ALLERGY TO SULFA AND MYCINS. I STOP MY TRIZANADINE WHILE I AM ON CIPRO AND TAKE FLEXERIL. IS THIS STILL OK TO DO?

There is no documented reaction between flexneril and ciprofloxacin. As your pharmacist rightly said, trizanadine and cipro combination is discouraged and as such it is a good idea to stay off it while you take this antibiotic. Because of your allergies, the options are limited and thus discontinuing whenever there is need seems to be a reasonable option.

SO I SHOULD NOT FEEL ANY DIFFERENT WHEN I TAKE THE CIPRO WITH THE FLEXERIL AS I DID BEFORE?
