Brief Answer:
Informtion

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX

Azithromycin or Zithromax is an antibiotic and does not typically cause drowsiness or alertness. People can react differently from one person to the next with any medication, but azithromycin is not a sedative nor a stimulant.

It should be reserved for severe bacterial infections that are not going away on their own over time.

I hope this information helps.
