Brief Answer:
Interaction possible with Atenolol and Plavix

Detailed Answer:
Hi xxxxxx,

Thank you for choosing HCM.

I have gone through the question and I understand your concerns.

It is better to alcohol with the medications you are taking as 2 of them can have an interaction with alcohol. Atenolol functions to reduce the blood pressure and when taken with alcohol, they can both reduce the blood pressure to a larger extent. This can lead to headaches, dizziness or weakness.

Plavix is made of Clopidogrel which is a blood thinner. When taken together with alcohol, it may lead to bleeding from the intestines and it would be a good idea to avoid taking them together.

I hope this has helped to answer your question.
