Question: Is Albendazole a lumen agent that can be used after metronidazole to treat the lumen when curing Asymptomatic patients with E. histolytica? If not what can I buy in South XXXXXXX that is a lumen agent?

Albendazole does not treat E. histolytica which is a protozoa. If you suspect that you may have worms, then albendazole may be used.
Iodoquinol, Paromomycin, or Diloxanide furoate may be used as an intraluminal agent. Please check with your pharmacist to know which all brands are available locally.
