Question: Hi Docter, do we need to take any vaccination for cat scratch. cat is healthy and its our pet cat. i had undergone a TT Injection in last month (before the cat scratch).

Thanks for posting your query.
Since you are already vaccinated one month back , TT vaccination is not required to be repeated.
If cat is healthy, non rabid pet and can be observed for ten days for signs of any illness then rabies vaccination is not mandatory .
It is not necessary to be evaluated after a cat scratch from a house pet unless there are signs or symptoms of infection (worsening pain, warmth or redness, pus-like discharge, or fever).
So please do not worry and keep the area clean and dry for optimal healing .
