Question: Are probiotic supplements good for you and are they safe also. Will they aid in weight loss and are there any negative side effects?

Probiotics are considered beneficial.

They are medical studies that indicate the probiotics can be helpful with weight loss in different ways including reducing abdominal fat and body weight.

In terms of side effects , most persons do not experience any negative effects. If effects occur they are usually mild and may include bloating.
In theory, in persons with an impaired/not working immune system, it can cause growth of bacteria to occur.


Prebioitcs (carbohydrates that cannot be digested but that is used as food by the probiotics), has also been found to be useful in weight loss.
