Brief Answer:
You have no reason to be worried about.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome back again on HCM!

I can reassure you that these are just theories, with not enough clinical evidence data to support any relation.

As long as you have no symptoms of coronary artery disease and no risk factors like Hypertension, dyslipidemia, diabetes, smoking, a family history, etc., you have nothing to worry about!

You are too young to be afraid of such disorder.

Many studies in US and Europe have found no connection between the two disorders.

So, just do not think about it any more.

I would recommend continuing with your healthy lifestyle and periodically scheduled check ups by your GP (including resting ECG,chest X ray and blood work).

Hope to have been helpful!

Greetings!

thank you again. I dont know why this is causing me so much anxiety. I had a cardiac work up two years ago because of PAC's and my heart was found to be healthy. I also get an ekg with my yearly physical and I've always had "perfect" ekg's. I just never noticed my ears having the light wrinkles they do and I've convinced myself I've developed heart disease.

Just try to relax and take a deep breath!

Detailed Answer:
Hello again!

I completely understand the way you feel, but I would reassure you that you have nothing to worry about!

All your performed tests can confirm this.

The only thing you should manage is your anxiety.

I would recommend consulting with a specialist of this field to help you manage anxiety.

An antidepressant or just psychotherapy could help you!

Meanwhile, I would recommend taking alprazolam 0.25mg.It is an excellent anxiolytic for the short term relief of anxiety (it should not be used for a prolonged time).

I would also recommend trying Yoga and meditation. It can change the way you feel.

Hope to have been helpful!

Best wishes,

Dr. Iliri

I take klonopin for anxiety and I see a psych doctor once a month for anxiety. I've been doing really well but for some reason this has set me back anxiety wise. I'm going to in close a photo of my ear crease with my ear ring out. I'm not sure if its a wrinkle from my piercing or if its a true ear crease that is considered a sign of heart disease

thank you for your patience with me. I did Google images and mine looked similar to the ones I saw. however I did read that ear creases are usually deeper and mine seems to be a superficial imprint possibly from sleeping in my ear rings.
