Brief Answer:
Don't think so; floral, sweet and chemical smell; not always

Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. Usually and most commonly the drug is sold in the form of salt crystals, or rock salt crystals, or powdery crystal form.

The smell of bath salts (methylenedioxypyrovalerone) is usually floral, sweet, or a chemical odour.

Yes, they should be able to be differentiated with a soap like smell, but in certain conditions they can get confusing (only smell); but the appearance should make it obvious.

I hope I have explained things in a manner best required by you ma'am. Please do not hesitate to write back to me for any further clarifications, I am always here to help.

Best wishes.

Brief Answer:
That depends on the region you live in, and also on availability

Detailed Answer:
Hello once again ma'am.

Normal laboratories will not accept the drug to test and confirm its composition as it is not part of their job unfortunately. You will have to ask around to find a laboratory that can do this for you, and even then, there are some legal issues bound with submitting the drug to the laboratory which can at times put the individual submitting the sample in trouble.

So please be careful, but honestly speaking the lab where you can submit this depends on your region, locality, etc; may be you can ask around if you really want to know.

Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I am always here to help.

Best wishes.
