Diagnosed with tonsillitis. Been on penicillin. Still lightheaded, off food and cold feet. Normal?

Diagnosed with tonsillitis last monday. Been on peneciilin. Still lightheaded, off food abd cold feet!! Normal!?

Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
After an infection and a course of antibiotics, it is common to have a loss of appetite, a mild abdominal upset and feeling cold due to the weakness. All these symptoms will gradually subside once you recover from the infection.
You need to concentrate on a healthy diet, plenty of fluids and a good night's sleep for an early recovery. Taking multivitamin supplement will also help.
Let me again reassure you that what you are experiencing is normal and not worrisome.
