Brief Answer:
Fibromyalgia full body pain tenderpoints, neuritis more local symptoms

Detailed Answer:
Dear Patient,

Fibromyalgia is defined as pain syndrome with pain in different areas of the body, requiring several so called tender points all over the body to be sensitive to pressure. It gets diagnosed mostly by a rheumatologist while ruling out other forms of disorders through blood works.

In comparison, neuritis is a local nerve "inflammation" and is a neurological condition, mostly limited to a local area of an affected nerve. It can come with other neurological symptoms, depending which nerve is affected (fibromyalgia doesn't).

So it is very unlikely to be mixed up/mistaken by a specialist who knows the proper definition and diagnostics.

Hope this is helping you , if you have any clarifications you can get back to me, if this was helpful please kindly rate my answer. Best regards
