Child is having constipation issues. Sometimes painful to pass hard stool. Suggest?

My 2.5year old daughter is facing constipation issues. I have give her salid like cucumber tomoto along with lunch and give her fruits like XXXXXXX pear, pomogranate daily. But sometimes she had very hard stool and passes it with great difficulty. Can you pl suggest if we can give her duphalac once in a while and what should be the dosage.

Ofcourse once in a while you can give duphalac 5 m.l..

The concern is not to make it a habit!!!

Give more of fluids,juices to soften the stool.

Hope you have already checked for thyroid function as hypothyroidism is one of the causes of constipation.

Give lot of vegetables, and greens lilke palak.
XXXXXXX may constipate in some !!!as thought in the western world!

Give bananas.
