Hi thanks for writing to us.

Went through your query in detail.

7.5 months old child with cough and cold needs to be examined by a pediatrician thoroughly for better examination.

How ever for the time being watch for chest retractions , hurried breathing , wheezing sound , fever and change of voice while crying, monitor her breathing rate and watch for any difficulty while feeding. If you find any of the above said symptoms, please contact your doctor.

For cough preparations having salbutamol or terbutaline with ambroxol syrups will be helpful, for running nose any preparations having chlorphneamine maleate and phenylephrine or citrizine will be helpful. She might even have a blocked nose - any saline based nasal drops may give her releif, for the brand and dosage you should contact your pediatrician.

Thanks for writing to us, hope i have answered your query, regards, do follow up. Wishing a speedy recovery.
