Can Tuberculosis Cause COPD?

Question: Is it possible to tell the difference between TB and COPD in a chest X-Ray? I have mild COPD and have a applied for a job. They did a TB test and now they want an X Ray. Will the the mild COPD make them think that I definitely have TB. I have no symptoms and I am very healthy.

I can understand your concern

There is no relationship between COPD and Tb.They are completely different diseases.

It might be that in COPD in chest X Ray to see fibrotic changes in lung apexes.

In my opinion as you explain despite chest X Ray it is needed a sputum examination for tb if it is negative than no problem.
