Brief Answer:
They do not raise your blood sugar!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

Molecuslim is not known to raise blood sugars. Though the FDA issued a warning against this pill, it was related the fact that the pill contains ingredients similar to amphetamines that suppress hunger and increase energy expenditure. Can you tell me what your concerns about blood sugar is and what your recent numbers have been? I may be able to provide more information should I understand the exact worries about this pill and your blood sugar numbers.

I hope to hear from you. Until then, I wish you well.

Dr. Ditah,
First of all thank you so much for your prompt answer and let me give you some more details for you to understand better my worries. I had an endocrine tumor in my pancreas in 2009 and my surgeon remove a little piece of my pancreas so I always have to check my blood sugar to try to avoid to become diabetic ... My A1C is between 6.0 to 6.2 ... going up and down every 3 months ... So my doctor said that I don't need to take anything yet. Of course I measure my blood sugar every day ... in the morning it is always more elevated ... such as 102 ... 105 ... and in the afternoon between 85 to 95 ... 3h after my lunch. But since I took my Molecuslim pill to try to lose a few pounds (I am not fat at all: 118 pounds for 5.6") my sugar in the morning is between 110 and sometimes 120 ... and in the afternoon between 95 and 105 ... I know it 's not catastrophic but it raised these few days ...!!! That 's why I am a little worried and I would really appreciate if you give me a good hint to try to reduce these numbers.
Thanking you in advance for your response ... Very sincerely, XXXX

Brief Answer:
Stop molecuslim and let’s monitor the numbers!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Your weight poses no problem to your health and reducing it further may be dangerous to your health. Because these numbers started to rise after you began this pill, there is a direct link. To explore this further, It is important to stop this pill and review the blood sugar levels again. If they should return to lower values, then this pill might be the cause. The difficulty with pills not certified for public use is that there is always limited research on its side effects and safety.

Your A1C and the blood sugar values are good for now. However, stop the pill and let’s review the number again to make sure it has not adverse effects on blood sugar.

I hope to hear from you on what your thoughts are.
