Detailed Answer:

It's possible that you have bladder irritation from something you ate (alcohol, spicy food, etc) but it's also possible that you have a urinary tract infection or prostatitis. So if this continues or you are feeling any other symptoms such as fever, flank pain, nausea - then please go in to be seen.

In your doctor's office or urgent care clinic, they can do a "dip stick" urinalysis which can indicate if there is likely an infection. If there is, the urine should be sent to a lab for a full culture and sensitivity testing and in the meantime, the doctor will likely start you on an antibiotic.

Drink plenty of water, and anecdotally some people find cranberry juice and cranberry powder capsules helpful.

If you are urinating and drinking more often because of thirst, then your blood sugar should be tested too, as problems with handling sugar can cause increased drinking and urination.

Hope I have answered your query.
