Can Stress Cause Memory Loss And Poor Concentration?

default
Posted on Wed, 31 May 2017
Question: HI,
I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH MS IN 1999. I have been in remission for some time.
My mother is being cared for by my sister and myself. Mom has cancer and hospice is also assisting.
I'm suddenly having problems focusing on tasks and loosing things. Is it possible that my stress is affecting memory more than average due to my MS?

Brief Answer:
Yes, stress seems to be the likely cause

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. Yes, rather than the MS, your stress is possibly having its toll and seems to be affecting your memory and concentration.

Let me know if I could help further.
