Hi

I read your query and I understand your concerns

Following is my reply

1. Coughing if severe and prolonged can cause miscarriage.

2. If there is miscarriage you will have bleeding or spotting.

3. If cough is not controlled please see a physician to assess the need for antibiotics.

Brief Answer:
No

Hi,

If there is no bleeding then there is nothing to worry.

Miscarriage at 14 weeks is preceded with spotting only.

Please get an ultrasound scan to confirm pregnancy.

Brief Answer:
Late

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

You should have got ultrasound for nuchal thickness as well as double marker before 14 weeks. Now its late.

Anyway now you can get following tests done:

Quadraple test : Consists of beta hCG, unconjugated estriol, alfa feto protein and inhibin A.

These tests will help you screen the diseases.

I have already got the nuchal scan done and it is perfectly ok..
Now should I get NIPT or quadraple test ?

Brief Answer:
Yes

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

If you have got nuchal thickness scan done then you dont need anything else. These quadraple tests will only enhance accuracy of this result.

These tests are not necessary. All is well. You can relax.
