Question: Can semen in eye cause an eye stye?

Details:

I happened to rub my eyes with my finger just after masturbation and they seem to have semen on them. 2 days later, i have a swelling on the eyelid that i rubbed.

Could this have been caused by the semen and will this infection cause antispeerm antibodies?

Brief Answer:
yes, and no, read below

Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome to HCM.

It won't cause anti-sperm antibodies of course, but it's infection may have been caused by bacteriae, not sperms. These bacteriae may be on your fingertip before or after masturbation. If before, then this is most likely caused by Staphylococcus, and if after, then some STD microbes may be considered such as Chlamydia or Gonorrhea.

Also, it may not be related to this contact at all. The best option would be to see ophthalmologist and get done smear test for further evaluation.

WIsh you good health.
Regards
