Brief Answer:
Yes but may not be suitable for your case.

Detailed Answer:
Hi thanks for query
Your question is``is there a laser surgery for sciatica nerve pain?``.The answer is yes.

But laser is more effective when compression on nerve root is caused by disc ie anterior compression than posterior compression(ligamentum flavum etc)

Since your age is 71, I expect posterior compression more in your case due to ligamentum flavum hypertrophy and facet hypertrophy. In my experience direct surgery and decompression of affected nerve roots is more beneficial in such cases if indicated.

Hope I was able to answer your query.
