Posted on Wed, 2 Dec 2015
Question: I gave oral sex to a man who had bumps between his legs and between buttocks cheeks which might of been warts. I do not know if he had any warts or sores or penis but it was hard to see because it was dark. Can I catch oral warts from this ?

Brief Answer:
Warts have the potential to trasmit virus if touched but not 100%

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Warts are caused by types of HPV (human papilloma virus). There are many sub types but most important are few.

If you come in contact with a person who has warts and not sure about them, I think you better ignore the idea of transmission to you now. Of course there is a chance of transmission but will it cause oral warts is doubtful. SOme people would fight the virus well than others. In your case if at all they are warts they would have been transmitted but they may not cause warts as you may be fighting them well.

So there are a lot of presumptions than actuals here. I suggest you to go ahead with life than bothered about some odd incident that already took place and cannot be reversed and prevented for that incident. Hereon I suggest you to be careful about these.
