Question: Hi Doctor,
I had protected sex with a sex worker on 04-Apr-2015 and I had very small cuts inn my groin area. After the sex the vaginal fluid of the sex worker was in my groin area. Immediately I washed it away with plaain water.
Immediately after 2 days I had itching all over trhe body and red rashes and white coat in my tongue and my palms got pink in color and the muscle twitching and my color of the skin became dark complexion.
After 3 months I tested all the STD diseases all came negative.
After 6 Months all the teste were again negative but this time there was SWAB genital test and later on the test was showing the below 3 infections.
1. Prevotella bivia
2. Enterococcus faecalis
3. vereinzelt proteus mirabilis

All the three were later on cured by using co-amoxicillin sandoz 1g for 6 days each 2 a day.
After that Doctor again tested for SWAB test and resulted for another infections namely:
1. Enterobacter aerogenes
2. Escherichia coli

Doctor gave me Ciprofloxacin.
My question to you is, Are these infections curable.
Can I have sex without condom with my wife.
Can I kiss my son without transmittng the infection to him.
Afgter this dosage I feel that these bacteria are coming out of my urine and the penis is itching.
Please advise.

Brief Answer:
You are safe

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query.
The infections mentioned by you are actually commensels, which means they normally reside in body and rarely cause symptoms when they are excess in numbers.
These infections are not sexually transmitted and also these are not dangerous.
Now You have only E.coli and Enterobacter infections which are very mild.
You can have sex with your wife without condom and touch or kiss your son.
Just relax you are safe.
It would be better if you can get your wife also tested as asymptomatic infection might be present in her genital area too.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you.
