Can Liver Disease Affect Pregnancy?

Question: I was diagnosed with a fatty liver about 2 years ago. I am now 24 weeks pregnant. Can this affect my pregnancy. the OB said no! my liver enzymes are within normal limits. just wanted a second opinion.
