Can Keloid Be Removed Through Plastic Surgery?

Question: Hi I am on a 3 weeks once steroid jab on my keloid. Im wondering once its flatten. Is it possible to remove it via plastic surgery tummy tuck ?

i want to remove this keloid scar. Thank you

I have seen the attached photograph. Its quite a big keloid.

There are various treatment options available for keloids which include steroid tablets,local steroid injections, LASER beam irradiations, cryosurgery and plastic surgery.

Once it flattens, you can opt for any of these. LASER is reported to have excellent results without any side effects.

Plastic surgery,though an option,should better be avoided and should be done only if LASER fails as there are high chances of recurrence after plastic surgery.
