I read your question and i understand your concern. Subcorneal pustular dermatosis has multiple medications in treatment options like dapsone, acitretin, phototherapy with psoralen etc, tetracycline, vitamin E , benzyl penicillin, azithromycin , cyclosporine and adalimumab.

S answer to your question regarding history of use of immunosuppressants like cyclosporine or adalimumab is yes. Tacrolimus however is not recommended in treatment options.

Topical steroids however are ineffective and should not be used. If they show response that is atypical and rare or the diagnosis is wrong and suggest pustular psoriasis more likely.
