Can I Have I Pill After Having Unprotected Sex?

Question: Hi doctor,

I am a 28 years old married girl. My periods are regular with a cycle of 28 days. .
Menstural date - 16th of month

Past history: used ipill last year and 2-3 times and had irregular periods. To avoid this a doctor suggested OVRAL'L to regularize it and also as a contraceptive.

Question: I had unsafe sex yesterday night. Can I use the above medicine as contraceptive now just like any other contraceptive? I will be planning baby after 6 months. Please advise.

Yes you can take the earlier prescribed contraceptive pills.
