Brief Answer:
cough syrups are causing drowsiness

Detailed Answer:
thanks for asking in HCM.
You daughter is just 12 weeks old.
better to avoid cough syrups. just nasal saline drops and mucolite are enough.
Visit your paediatrician again and ask her to discontinue it. Do not keep her in AC or direct FAN. As she is so small and high surface area, she can not tolerate it. So please avoid it.
Bathing once a week is enough. You can clean her by hot water sponging. Avoid daily bathing.
Visit your doctor to rule out any chances of chest infection.
Avoid cough syrups if their is no indication.
Take care

Brief Answer:
maintain the room temperature according to baby.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for giving more information.
Answer of your questions:
1. you can use AC or FAN as you are living n XXXXXXX but try to keep room temperature 27-29 Celsius. Keep away from direct air. As she is just 12 weeks old so her body temperature will be greatly affected by room temperature.
2. cover her body with light cotton cloths, heavy blankets or aprons should be avoided.
3. avoid frequent bath upto the age of 4 months. As she is having cold so give bath in 4-5 days interval. you can clean her with hot water sponge. After recovery from you can bath her every alternate day with slightly warm water.
4. Avoid frequent handling by others as they can be a source of infections. Better to hold her after hand wash.
5. Avoid crowded or public areas. If she is having cold frequently.
Do not worry after age of 6 months her immunity will become more stronger and less care will be needed.
Hope i have answered your query.
Take care.
