Can Hookworms Cure Diabetes?
Question: Sir, I went to Mexico over the weekend and Went to a Dr. J Llamas Who prescribed Hook Worms to me and said they may help with my Diabetes. He started me off with 30 Hook Worms that he said would make their way down to my gut where they will stay and fight my Diabetes. Is this True or did I just get ripped off 2200.00

Hi,
There are e few studies that confirm the improvement of insulin resistance and thus of glucose levels in patients infected by hookworms, but nothing is improved by FDA (food and drug administration) and is not recommended by physicians.
Of course, parasite infection may have other side effects and me, personally, would not recommend it as a therapy for diabetes.
