Question: I am getting over the flu and I have what I believe to be hives. Is it associated with the flu and what is the best way to handle it

Yes,hives can be associated with flu. You can upload a photo of the rash so that I am better able to help.

I would recommend you to take antihistamines like tablet Cetrizine twice daily and apply soothing lotion like calamine lotion on the hives twice daily.You can continue this for 5-7 days as this will resolve hives.
