Can Hepatitis-C Be Contracted Through Skin Contact With Another's Blood?

Question: When I brushed my teeth my gum bleeds some time. My nephew is 4 years old and had a cutt on his right hand which had dried blood over it.

Today Once he come near to me and insert his 2 fingers of right hand in my mouth which i pull out immediately in second. I see his hand but there is no visible blood on his fingers.

after that I wash my mouth with paste 2 times and then with Enziclor Mouth Wash (Benzydamine 0.15%, Chlorhexidine 0.2%) 3 times.

Is there is any chance of Hepatitis C. I hope he is a small child and not a patient of Hepatitis C

Hi,

I have reviewed this information fully. The risk of hepatitis C is almost zero if not zero. I will not even be concerned about now. Though hepatitis C is transmitted through blood, not every simple event as such can lead to hepatitis C infection-if it were, everyone would have had hepatitis C.

In all, risk nonexistent and no need to worry further.
