Can Gout Cause Swelling And Pain In The Ankles And Heels?

Question: I am having swelling and pain in both my ankle and my heel for the last month. The doc put me on anti inflammatories and it hasn't solved it. The pain is not so bad some days, then will flare up again sometimes for days. I work a lot on my feet and am overweight but generally in good health, F 62. Could this be gout?

Hello,
I have studied your case. I do not think you are having Gout. Rather it is most probably due to bone and muscle weakness. Before I advised you anything I would like to know little detail of the illness.
1.Do you have any fever in last three months?
2.Do you have thyroid or Diabetes or any other medical illness?
3.Are you taking any medication since long time?
