Brief Answer: Yes, no approved officially by drug agences, depen Detailed Answer: Hi and thanks for the query, Recent studies on the use of Methamphetamine (Desoxyn) in management of asthma have not revealed very conclusive results. Mild improvements have however been observed. The fear has mainly been the side effects, especially neurological that might arise with the use of this substance. Low doses of the drug really do not produce the required results. This difficulty off reducing the doses in order to reduce neurologic side effects like dependence and hypnotic effects, have made many regulation agencies like the FDA not to accept or vulgarize the use of Methamphetamine in treatment of asthma. More large scale studies to better understand this potential drug candidate are required. There exist numerous drug options to manage asthma. In case of difficulties, booking an appointment with a pulmonologist could be helpful. Kind regards
