Brief Answer: No, cervical disc bulge would not cause them. Detailed Answer: Hi, Thank you for posting your query. Bulging of discs in the neck would not lead to lack of saliva and taste, or lack of feeling while swallowing. These symptoms would usually occur with involvement of brain (typically the brain stem) and not cervical spine. Bulging of discs in cervical spine usually causes neck pain, pain in the arms or numbness and weakness of arms. I hope my answer helps. Please get back if you require any additional information. Wishing you good health, Dr Sudhir Kumar MD (Internal Medicine), DM (Neurology) XXXXXXX Consultant Neurologist Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad, India

Hi doc, I ve had an asd repair about 4 months ago I m 22 years old and weigh 160 lbs , but I m getting frequent chest pains and they become stronger as time goes on. My cardiologist says it probably inflammation but I doubt that as the pain I feel is the same pain I used to have before I knew I had an asd. What do u figure can be the problem? I also have constant dizziness and arm pain.

My 14 yr. old is having extreme burping, we have been to the ER and got no results. She was previously diagnosed with a Lyles Heart murmur or musical murmur. She is 5 9 , 138 pounds, active with basketball and dance. She complains of lightheadedness, chest pain in upper left quadrant, left arm pain and she says she feels like her heart is racing at random times. She can t inhale or exhale deeply without burps, and they are constant and persistant. She has had a normal sonogram of the liver, kidneys, gall bladder. Do you have any suggestions? We are frustrated. In the ER she had low potassium and low BUN, she has also been diagnosed with chillblains on the fingers and toes, negative antigen test for Lupus and Rheumatoid arthritis.

Hello. About a week ago, a rash that looks to come from an allergy appeared on my arm. My doctors could not find what I was allergic to through multiple tests. However, that is not the concern. Beginning yesterday, the rash split at certain parts on my arm, revealing the skin underneath, and has been profusely leaking clear pus. I have no pain in my arm, and it is functional, however m still worried. What do I need to do to insure this recovery, and do I need to go to the doctor?
