Question: i have been diagnost as having sciatica. will wearing a back brace help eiliviate the pain?

Back brace can be used for short term only.

Detailed Answer:
Hi I am Dr Gopal Goel Orthopedic Surgeon.
Sciatica is a symptom- pain from the back radiating to a leg . It is not a disease . One has to find the cause of sciatica to be able to treat adequately.
In good no patients of sciatica use of Back brace does help in reducing pain esp on movement, but long term use is not recommended.
