Can Anxiety Cause Sudden Dizziness And Tingling Sensation In The Body?

Question: I have ectopic atrial tachycardia. And an anxiety disorder. I take bisoprolol hctz and flecainide acetate. Also ativan daily. I was upset earlier. But I was sitting down and was calm, and then I felt really dizzy feeling and tingling almost. And then it went away. I didn't full blown freak out after. But can anxiety have like. A rebound effect on you almost- even when you're calm? What do you think?

Yes anxiety could cause similar presentation. Anxiety can lead to sudden onset dizziness and tingling like symptoms. But you also have ectopic beats and atrial tachycardia. The ectopics could lead to sudden arrhythmias and this might cause generation of anxiety.

If no effects are seen on taking Ativan then you should talk with your doctor for evaluation. Get your ECG done to rule out cardiac issue.
