Question: Should someone recently diagnosed with epilepsy, age 25, stop drinking. or what amount of alcohol is safe for someone with epilepsy

Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concern.
Epilepsy requires regular timely medications for seizure control.
Brain MRI and EEG is required.
Alcohol alters the metabolism of drugs and affects the liver too.
It also lowers the threshold for seizures and is not advisable to take.
No amount is safe.
