Brief Answer:
Not advisable

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing to us.
Walkers not advisable as they can lead to accidents and fall.
Many accidents have occurred with walkers. It also delays walking as the legs are spread apart and baby doesn't know to balance once off the Walker.
At 8 months it is too early anyhow to try walking.
Try making your baby sit and stand with support.
Around 10 months, you can start making her walk along holding a person or a furniture. But this should be done with adult person beside the child.
Even at 1 year make sure you allow the baby to walk with support. Once your child is able to balance well, then you can try walking without support, that too with an adult close by.
Regards
Dr Arun
