Can A Push On Lower Back Under The Chair Cause Damage To Back?

Question: I was sitting on my husband's lap and he told me to get up because It was hurting his back
and he pushed me off and my lower back pushed against the underneath of the arm of the chair which is very hard. Can that hurt my lower back?
