Can A Normal Delivery Occur After A C-section?
Question: Hi doc, my expected date of delivery is today 20th. I have recently done a sonography and am attaching the results. My first baby was a via a sizzor, however wanted this one to be normal if possible. However I donot want the wait to be long from hereon and wanted to decide looking the chances I have for a normal delivery. Can you please advise me looking at the reports.

I have gone through your reports and history in detail.
You can try for normal vaginal delivery as your ultrasound report is normal and you had c- section 3 yrs back.
But as your stress response is positive, you have to repeat the test after 2-3 days under supervision of your treating doctor.
You can wait for labour pain to start till 40 weeks and see the engagement of foetal head etc by pelvic examination of your gynaecologist.
If normal delivery is not happened, you have to go for c - section again.
During trying for normal delivery, you should keep watch on foetal heart rate and well being.

Thanks Doc. After visiting the doc here he asked us to wait a couple of days then further asked for a scanning today again. From our end our objective is we can opt for a normal delivery. I am attaching the reports from todays scan. Can you advice.
