Very unlikely. Tampoons are usually made from very hypoallergic materials which do not cause any problems. But if the tampoon was left for too long it could cause irritation or infection.

Blisters in the intimate area are usually due to herpes or other sexually transmitted diseases. If the blisters increase, you have burning sensation while passing urine, fever, get swabs taken to rule out infection.
