Posted on Mon, 18 Jul 2016
Question: I would like to extract the fluid out of my epididimal cyst with a syringe and needle, as it is sore and swells from time to time. IT is sore a lot and I just want to shove a 2ml syringe with needle and suck out the fluid as it is under pressure and sends dull pain into my testicle. Is this ok?? Please help

Brief Answer:
No

Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome to HCM.
It is not ok of course. you should never try to do it alone and only medical professional should perform needle punction. You may miss the fluid collection and damage vessels or ducts. Also, you may cause another infection. This should be done under ultrasound control by professionals. Wish you good health. Regards
